MNACA Successfully Concludes Comprehensive Short-Term Anti-Corruption Training Series

The Maldives National Anti-Corruption Academy (MNACA) successfully concluded a short-term training series aimed at increasing awareness and skills in anti-corruption practices. Held from August 13 to September 23, the program included seven interactive sessions, such as:

• Introduction to Anti-Corruption

• Anti-Corruption Measures and Initiatives

• Approaches to Studying Corruption

• Anti-Corruption Compliance

• Anti-Corruption Enforcement

• Collaboration in Anti-Corruption

• Ethics & Islamic Values

A total of 40 representatives from 13 public institutions participated actively in the training. Of these, 20 participants received certificates of completion after successfully attending at least six of the seven sessions, demonstrating their dedication to strengthening ethical practices within their organizations.

The closing ceremony of MNACA’s Short-Term Anti-Corruption Training Series featured the President of the Elections Commission, Ahmed Zahid, who underscored the importance of unity and maintaining integrity in the workplace as essential measures to combat corruption. The event was also attended by the Commission President Uz. Adam Shamil, Commission Members, the Secretary General, senior management, and MNACA staff, highlighting the Academy’s ongoing commitment to collaborative efforts in fighting corruption.
