Bid Committee

"Bid Committee" is a committee that needs to be formed in every public office of the government under the clause number 10.13 of the "Public Financial Regulation". The purpose of the Bid Committee is to examine if the bid was conducted in accordance with the "Public Financial Regulation" and give approval to the bids. This committee consists of seven members including the chairperson of the committee.

Responsibilities

  • Discuss and give approval to procurement related bids in accordance to “Public Finance Regulation”
  • Examine if procurement evaluations are conducted in accordance to the” Public Financial Regulation”

Human Resource Development Committee

Human Resources Development Committee is formed under the Article 22 of the ‘ACC Training Policy’ with the purpose of providing training opportunities for ACC employees, advising ACC members regarding training and capacity building of employees and carrying out researches related to employee training.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that ACC employees applying for national and international training programs meet the requirements set out in the ACC employees training policy and to advise the Commission on the subject matter
  • Advise the Commission members regarding the programs for training and development of employees
  • Research and advise the Commission regarding employee training programs and to fulfil all the responsibilities assigned to the Committee by the Commission

Performance Appraisal Committee

The ACCs Performance Appraisal Committee is established under Article 18 of ACCs Performance Appraisal and Promotion Policy to assess employee performances and award promotions.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze employee performances covering details about selection of deserving employees for promotion, bonus or any other actions and deliberate discussions to the Commission members
  • Investigate appeals regarding issues of performance appraisal
  • Advise the Commission regarding the implementation of employee promotion and performance appraisal procedures

Committee on Preventing Sexual Harassment and Sexual Abuse

The Committee on Preventing Sexual Harassment and Sexual Abuse is formed under the Article 17 of the Sexual Harassment Prevention Act to investigate and take actions regarding sexual harassment and sexual abuse issues.

Responsibilities

  • The responsibility of the Committee is to investigate and take actions regarding sexual harassment claims by employees at work environment.

Review Committee

Under the Rights to Information Act, clause 42 articulates that if a complaint has to be raised against the Information Officer (IO) or a decision made by the IO need to be appealed by the subject, it can be done through the Review Committee of the institution.

Responsibilities

  • The main responsibility of the Committee is to review complaints received and decisions undertaken by the IO and consider remedial actions.
