ACC CONDUCTS AWARENESS SESSIONS AT FUVAHMULAH CITY UNDER “MASALAS RAAJJE” NATIONAL AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has conducted awareness sessions in co-operation with Elections Commission at Fuvahmulah City under “Masalas Raajje” national awareness campaign. These sessions were focused on the upcoming local council elections.
In this regard, ACC has conducted 2 sessions on Friday, 21st February 2020 for 60 candidates and 56 officials of political parties. In addition to this, a session for 62 public officials and 18 police officers of Fuvahmulah City was conducted on Saturday, 22nd February 2020. The sessions highlighted the importance of integrity and importance of eliminating electoral corruption and also urged to vote for candidates who values integrity. The sessions were conducted by professionals of ACC.
“Masalas Raajje” is a national awareness campaign led by Elections Commission with the participation of 16 other institutions. This campaign is to be conducted for a duration of 1 year.
