MNACA Launches “Isdhaana – Leadership Training Series” for ACC Staff

The Maldives National Anti-Corruption Academy (MNACA) has launched the “Isdhaana – Leadership Training Series,” a specialised leadership and management development programme designed for senior officials and managerial staff of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
The four-month training series officially commenced on 8 September 2026 and comprises 11 sessions totaling 22 hours. The programme is designed to strengthen participants’ leadership and managerial capabilities, with a particular focus on three key areas: managing people, managing processes, and delivering performance. The sessions will be delivered by qualified and experienced facilitators with expertise in leadership and management.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Commission Member Mr. Ahmed Nashid highlighted the importance of developing effective leadership knowledge and skills, emphasising that the practical application of these learnings in the workplace is essential to achieving meaningful results.
Also speaking at the ceremony, Director General of MNACA, Mr. Ibrahim Thayyib underscored the importance of self-reflection, taking ownership of professional responsibilities, and maintaining accountability as key attributes of effective leadership and management.
The training series aims to further strengthen the Commission’s administrative and managerial capacity and equip managers with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively address challenges and enhance performance in the workplace.
