Commencement of short-term awareness training program on Anti-Corruption

The Anti-Corruption Commission has inaugurated an awareness program on combating corruption, attracting significant participation from various state institutions. This initiative, organized by the Commission's Anti-Corruption Academy, is designed to enhance state employees’ understanding of the detrimental effects of corruption.

During the program’s inauguration, the Commission’s President, Ustaz Adam Shamil, emphasized the importance of equipping state employees with the necessary knowledge and expertise in anti-corruption practices. He further highlighted that the Commission is actively expanding educational and training opportunities in this field through collaboration with international anti-corruption agencies.

The training program which comprises of seven sessions commenced with 40 participants representing 13 agencies. These sessions will cover the identification of corrupt practices, preventive measures, anti-corruption compliance, the legal framework established to combat corruption, the value of collaborative efforts in eradicating corruption, and the role of ethical and Islamic principles in fostering integrity and accountability.
