ACC Participates in the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the GlobE Network
29th May 2025
A representative from the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) of the Maldives participated in the sixth plenary meeting of the Global Operational Network of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Authorities (GlobE Network), held from 20–23 May 2025 in Baku, Azerbaijan. The event was organized in collaboration with the General Prosecutor’s Office of Azerbaijan.
This high-level gathering brought together anti-corruption law enforcement authorities, observers, and strategic partners from around the world for three days of intensive discussions, operational engagement, and knowledge sharing.
The GlobE Network plenary served as a key platform for anti-corruption professionals to exchange experiences, develop joint strategies, and strengthen direct communication channels for effective cross-border cooperation in the fight against corruption. The agenda included contributions from observer states and partner organizations, operational knowledge exchanges, and opportunities for informal networking to foster trusted working relationships.
During the meeting, the ACC representative engaged with counterparts from various jurisdictions to discuss best practices, enhance frameworks for international cooperation, and reaffirm the Maldives’ commitment to global anti-corruption efforts.
The GlobE Network remains a vital mechanism for enabling direct and timely collaboration between anti-corruption law enforcement authorities worldwide. The sixth plenary meeting represents another significant step forward in strengthening international solidarity against transnational corruption and promoting integrity across borders.
