ACC launches new case management system

ACC launched a new Case Management System(CMS) developed to use modern technology and digital tools to conduct investigations.

Debra Mosel, Deputy Mission Director for Sri Lanka and the Maldives at USAID launched the new case management system at a ceremony held at the Commission's Training Hall on June 20, 2023.

Speaking at the ceremony, Commission Member Shiyaama Mohammed said the new CMS has been developed to automate the work that was previously done manually. She also noted that the introduction of this new case management system marks a turning point in the commission's efforts to combat corruption.

One of the most prominent features of this software is that it can be centrally utilized for case notes, scheduling appointments, and viewing the history of cases, including ongoing ones. Furthermore, it allows the conduct of client communications, tracking, and storage of client data.

It also incorporates an evidence module, which allows investigation teams to handle their cases separately and includes features such as writing case diaries.

Commission members, officials, and senior officials from ABA Rule of Law Maldives and USAID Maldives attended the ceremony.
