Uz. Shiyama Mohamed was appointed to the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) by the President of the Republic of Maldives on 17th March 2022, with the approval of the Maldivian Parliament.
Prior to her appointment at the ACC, Uz. Shiyama Mohamed filled other leadership positions as a Legal Officer in the High Court of the Maldives and as a Deputy Director at the Elections Commission. She also worked as an Investigation Officer at the ACC in the year 2013.
Uz. Shiyama Mohamed holds a Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M) and an Honors Degree in Law (LL. B).
